Nothing here is financial, medical, or legal advice. Figures are generalized estimates modeled on US standards and assumptions, and they do not guarantee future results. Any action or inaction taken in response to the content is at the sole risk of the reader.

The site and its content are provided on an “as is” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Availability, accuracy, and continued operation are not guaranteed.

Limitation of liability

Under no circumstances shall the creators of The Cost Of be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with the use of or reliance on the calculations, prose, or observations presented.

Content and ownership

The scenarios, writing, design, and calculations are the work of The Cost Of. They may be read and shared by link. They may not be copied, scraped, republished, sold, or used to train models or build a competing product without written permission.

Accounts and acceptable use

Accounts are optional and free, and exist only to sync realized scenarios across devices. Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape, reverse-engineer, or abuse the site or its systems. Accounts or access involved in such activity may be suspended or removed.
